During our 15 years of operation, we have been able to develop, together with our customers, a working system that integrates effective purchasing and logistic procedures. The services we offer can be broken down in 4 basic steps:
1) ESTIMATES/PROPOSALS:
The first step is to clarify the requirement. It is extremely important to properly identify the equipment, material or spare part needed. Sometimes, customers do not have complete information or details about their requirement, specially when it comes to old or discontinued items. Classic, using its expertise and vendor network, will work together with you to properly identify the correct item. For items that can no longer be found in the market, we will propose alternative replacements. Once we have precisely determined the requirement, we will send a formal proposal, which will include the price ex-factory, plus a breakdown of additional costs such as: inland freight, packing, or any other special handling required by the customer. In export sales, this breakdown could save the customer import duties and taxes. We can also send an all inclusive quote if the customer requires so. In this regards, we will follow your company's procedures and instructions. Our quote will also include the payment terms.
2) YOUR PURCHASE ORDER:
You can send us your order either via fax or email. We will immediately send you an order acknowledgement that can be in the form of a proforma invoice (if requested by the customer), confirming the price quoted, payment terms and estimated delivery times. We will continously follow up on your order with our vendors, acting as an extension of your company, making sure that your orden is processed in an expeditious way.
3) RECEIPT OF ITEMS:
Most of the orders are received at our location, where we carefully check it for correctedness and quality. We want to make sure that we detect any mistakes before the items are shipped to you. We also inspect the quality of the packing and make sure that your items are consolidated so as to save you money in future transportation charges.
